BNP Condemns Denial of Fair Trial to Iman Mazari and Hadi Chatha, Urges Recovery of Missing Persons

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** – The Balochistan National Party (BNP) expressed serious concern over the alleged unfair treatment of Iman Mazari and Hadi Chatha, stating that denying them the opportunity to defend themselves undermines the very notion of justice. The statement emphasized that raising voices for the recovery of missing persons is not a crime and highlighted growing concern among the people of Balochistan over the matter.
According to the BNP, Iman Mazari and Hadi Chatha’s only “offense” has been advocating for the retrieval of missing persons while supporting the oppressed Baloch population without showing any compromise or political convenience. The party condemned the enforced disappearances of individuals including Sariab Kili Qamberani, Satak Qamberani, Bismillah Qamberani, Masoom Qamberani, Hamal Qamberani, Hayrbiar Qamberani, Aftab Lehri, and Biber G. BNP stressed that anyone accused of a crime should be tried in a court of law, and that enforced disappearances inflict immense suffering on the affected families, violating fundamental human rights.
The statement further highlighted that the Baloch people are rightful residents of their land and must be treated according to constitutional and legal provisions, with disputes resolved through dialogue rather than force. BNP criticized the misallocation of billions spent on security, arguing that transparent investment in education, employment, and dialogue could have prevented Balochistan from reaching its current critical situation.
The party demanded a fair trial for Iman Mazari and Hadi Chatha in the alleged “bogus” case and called for the immediate public disclosure of Satak Qamberani and other missing persons.
