Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Holds Protest Rally in Muslim Bagh, Slams Govt Policies

Muslim Bagh:The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) organized a massive protest rally and public gathering in Muslim Bagh (Hindu Bagh), attended by a large number of party leaders, workers, and locals. The event was presided over by PNAP’s provincial president, Nasrullah Khan Zirey, while key leaders including Central Secretary Chairman Allah Noor Khan Kakar, Provincial Finance Secretary Syed Akbar Khan Kakar, Sardar Asif Khan Sargarh, Sardar Allah Yar Jogezai, Nizam Khan, and Maulvi Shah Khalid addressed the participants.

The speakers condemned the crackdown on Afghan refugees, their forced deportation across the Durand Line, and violations of basic human rights. They also denounced attacks on chromite-laden vehicles under the name of BLA from Muslim Bagh to Karachi, terming such acts intolerable.

The leaders criticized the government for allegedly harassing Pashtun farmers transporting vegetables and fruits via the Punjab (Loralai) route during nighttime. They strongly rejected the “imposed” Mines and Minerals Act 2025, calling it unconstitutional and an attack on people’s rights.

Speakers also accused the Forest Department of colluding with outsiders to illegally occupy tribal lands in South Pashtunkhwa, while condemning 18–20 hours of continuous load-shedding and dismantling of power feeders in Kan Mehtarzai, Makhi, Konjoghi, Sarha Salwata, Murgha Faqirzai, Nesei, and Rod Jogezai.

Rising thefts, robberies, and drug abuse in Hindu Bagh city and surrounding areas were described as alarming signs of social decay, with leaders accusing the government of complete failure.

On education, they highlighted the collapse of institutions in Qilla Saifullah district, demanding immediate restoration of salaries for 920 non-teaching missing posts and inclusion of 877 teaching posts in the budget to revive schools. They also rejected the provincial government’s decision to merge Levies into police and disciplinary actions against local personnel, calling it anti-people.

The party further demanded the revival of the Badini Gateway for regional economic growth, while strongly condemning Customs officials and FC personnel for allegedly extorting bribes from traders’ drivers.

The speakers stressed that the “imposed government” had failed to provide basic services, citing the shutdown of 3G and 4G services in Qilla Saifullah and Muslim Bagh as a major setback for students and e-commerce businesses. They vowed that PNAP would continue its protest rallies and demonstrations until the people’s rights are secured.
