According to a report by the **Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) up to September 5**, the price of a 20-kg flour bag has surged by as much as **Rs1,050 in just three weeks**, reaching a maximum of **Rs2,500** in certain parts of the country.

City-wise data shows the steepest hike in **Bannu**, where flour became **Rs1,050 costlier**, followed by **Peshawar and Larkana (Rs900)**, **Sukkur (Rs840)**, **Lahore (Rs830)**, **Multan (Rs826)**, **Gujranwala and Sialkot (Rs817)**, **Islamabad (Rs800)**, **Rawalpindi and Quetta (Rs740)**, and **Bahawalpur (Rs866.67)**.
