Flyadeal Expands Operations to Pakistan: Launches Flights to Peshawar and Islamabad

Islamabad, — Saudi low-cost airline Flyadeal has expanded its flight operations to Pakistan, officially launching new routes to Peshawar and Islamabad, strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.

According to a statement from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the inaugural flight to Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar was welcomed on August 25, 2025, with a ceremony held at the International Departure Lounge in front of the CIP Lounge. The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony organized by Menzies RAS and was attended by officials from the PAA, Airport Security Force (ASF), and Menzies RAS.

Flyadeal will now operate two weekly flights between Riyadh and Peshawar, scheduled every Monday and Wednesday.

Earlier, on August 24, Flyadeal’s inaugural flight FAD 651/652 landed at Islamabad International Airport, arriving from Riyadh with 65 passengers. The aircraft received a traditional water salute on arrival. The return flight departed with 172 passengers on board. Flyadeal will operate a weekly flight on the Riyadh–Islamabad–Riyadh route every Sunday.

The Pakistan Airports Authority welcomed the launch of Flyadeal’s operations, stating that the new flights will enhance air connectivity, provide more travel options for passengers, and further strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
