“Maliha Lodhi Questions Why Trump Didn’t Stop Israel If He Knew About the Attack on Iran”

Islamabad: Former Pakistani Ambassador Maliha Lodhi has expressed concern over the recent Israeli attack on Iran, questioning why former U.S. President Donald Trump did not prevent Israel if he had prior knowledge of the situation. In an exclusive interview with Geo News, Lodhi stated that Trump failed to act on the Ukraine issue and that the United States must answer for its actions.
Lodhi also raised the critical question, “Did the U.S. give Israel a green light to attack Iran?” She warned of severe consequences if this were the case, stressing that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) failed to stop the bloodshed in Gaza. She pointed out that while Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations have condemned the violence, mere statements are no longer enough to address the issue.
According to Lodhi, Israel is a terrorist state that has flagrantly violated international laws. She echoed China’s call for de-escalation in the region, emphasizing that Israel only listens to the United States. She also expressed solidarity with Iran, stating that it is crucial to stand together with Iran in these difficult times.
Lodhi further remarked that Russia is unlikely to play a significant role in the current situation, suggesting that only the U.S. has the power to influence the outcome of this conflict.
