Balochistan Government Dispatches Major Relief Consignment for Flood Victims in GB and KP

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has sent a significant relief consignment to support flood-affected families in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The aid shipment includes essential non-food items such as tents, blankets, bottled water, and other necessary supplies.
According to government spokesperson Shahid Rind and PDMA Director General Jehanzaib Khan, the consignment has already been dispatched and is en route to the affected regions. The aid includes relief for 1,500 families in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,000 families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The relief effort was launched under the directive of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to ensure timely assistance for those impacted by the floods.
Shahid Rind stated that the Government of Balochistan stands in solidarity with the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this difficult time. He emphasized that this humanitarian effort reflects the province’s commitment to national unity and compassion.
Jehanzaib Khan added that all relief items have been carefully selected and quality-checked to meet the immediate needs of the affected families. He noted that the aid package includes high-standard, tested materials to ensure effectiveness on the ground.
