FBR Exceeds Revenue Target by Rs 6.4 Billion in July 2025

ISLAMABAD:The **Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)** has collected **Rs 6.4 billion** more than its set target for the first month of the fiscal year **2025-26**.

According to the details, the FBR successfully collected **Rs 754.4 billion** in revenue in **July 2025**, surpassing the target of **Rs 748 billion**. This represents a **100.9%** achievement of the revenue goal.

The highest revenue was collected under **sales tax**, amounting to **Rs 304 billion**, followed by **income tax**, which brought in **Rs 323 billion** for the month. In addition, **customs duties** amounted to **Rs 113 billion**, while **federal excise duties** stood at **Rs 46 billion**.

The report also mentioned that during July, **Rs 81 billion** in tax refunds were issued, and the total **gross revenue** from taxes for the month amounted to **Rs 835 billion**.
