Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur Says Opponents Lack Strength or Legitimacy to Topple His Government

Islamabad: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, strongly criticized attempts to destabilize his government, declaring that his political opponents neither have the standing nor the capacity to bring down his administration through democratic means.
Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad District Courts, where he appeared in an ongoing legal case, Gandapur stated:
“They do not have the strength or legitimacy to topple our government politically or democratically. I challenge them again and again.”
He accused the system of lacking justice, stating:
“There is no rule of law in this country. The battle for justice is being led by PTI’s founding leadership. These baseless and fabricated cases have been ongoing for years.”
Addressing his own case, the CM said:
“The case against me has been pending since 2016. Allegations include possession of weapons and bottles, yet I wasn’t even present at the scene, nor was the vehicle mine. There is nothing substantial in this case.”
Gandapur reiterated his commitment to the legal process, saying:
“We’ve always presented ourselves before the courts and are not afraid of these appearances. Our fight is one of truth, and we will emerge victorious.”
He also announced that on August 5, the people from every district and constituency will come out in support of their cause, and that he himself will lead the protest in his province.
In a sharp rebuke, he added:
“Yes, you’ve taken over Pakistan through illegal means — keep doing that. But you cannot remove our government through political or democratic channels.”
Gandapur’s comments reflect the rising political tensions as PTI continues to face legal challenges and political opposition across the country.
