Balochistan Government Approves Merger of Hub Levies Force with Provincial Police

Quetta:** The Balochistan Government, in collaboration with the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, has approved a significant administrative decision to formally merge the Hub Levies Force with the Balochistan Police. According to an official notification issued, the entire command, authority, and administrative control of the Hub Levies will now fall directly under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Hub District.
The notification further clarified that all personnel of the Hub Levies will now be considered part of the police force. Their salaries, benefits, and other administrative matters will be managed under the district police budget. This decision is aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and coordination of the security system, ensuring uniformity and an improved response capacity in maintaining law and order in the district.
Following the merger, the distinction between the police and Levies Force in the Hub District will be eliminated. All security and law enforcement activities will now be carried out under police command, leading to a more integrated and robust security framework.
This move is expected to streamline law enforcement and enhance security protocols, ultimately contributing to a safer and more stable environment in the region.
