World Losing Trust in India Due to Expansionist Ambitions and Rising Hindutva Extremism: Field Marshal Asim Munir

Rawalpindi:Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), has strongly criticized India’s expansionist ambitions and the growing trend of Hindutva extremism, saying the world is becoming increasingly disillusioned with New Delhi’s dangerous trajectory.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the remarks were made during the Corps Commanders Conference chaired by Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The forum observed Fateha for the martyrs of recent terror attacks orchestrated by India-sponsored proxies and reviewed the successful counter-terrorism operations carried out by the security forces. It reaffirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain, and the protection and security of the Pakistani people remain the top priority of the armed forces.
The military’s spokesperson said the forum stressed the importance of decisive and comprehensive operations against Indian-sponsored proxy networks at all levels. Following a clear defeat in the Pahalgam incident, India is now attempting to further its malicious agenda through foreign-backed terrorist proxies, labeled by ISPR as Fitna-e-Khawarij and Fitna-e-Hindustan.
Field Marshal Asim Munir briefed the forum on Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic engagements, including recent successful visits with the Prime Minister to Iran, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He also discussed the significance of his recent historic and high-level visit to the United States, where Pakistan’s position on bilateral, regional, and global issues was conveyed directly to senior U.S. leadership.
The forum conducted an in-depth review of internal and external security developments, especially in the context of evolving dynamics in the Middle East and Iran. Concerns were raised over the increasing global trend of using military power as a preferred policy tool, underlining the need for Pakistan to enhance its self-reliance and foster national unity and determination.
Field Marshal Munir rejected India’s attempt to involve third parties in bilateral military tensions, labeling it a baseless effort to promote bloc politics and misrepresent India’s self-declared role as a regional net security provider.
The forum was also briefed on the evolving nature of warfare and emerging threats, with updates on the Pakistan Army’s ongoing strategic reforms and innovations.
Field Marshal Munir commended the leadership of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force for strengthening tri-services coordination. He concluded the conference by expressing full confidence in the operational readiness of the Pakistan Armed Forces to counter all threats facing the country.
