Jamaat-e-Islami Launches Free IT Training Initiative for 25,000 Youth in Balochistan Under ‘Alkhidmat Bano Qabil’ Program

Quetta:A major youth empowerment initiative was announced by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of Provincial Assembly, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch. Speaking at a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Tuesday, he declared that 25,000 students across Balochistan will receive free modern IT training under the *Alkhidmat Bano Qabil* program. The training rollout is scheduled to take place between August and November this year.

Joined by party members Abdul Naeem Rind, Engineer Jameel Kurd, Tayyab Fareed, Qamar Ibrahim, Abdul Wali Shakir, Faizan, and Abdul Hameed Mansoori, Maulana Hidayat said the initiative aims to equip the youth of Balochistan with modern digital skills in line with current employment market demands.

He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami is not just a political party but a public service movement, actively involved in education, healthcare, and welfare. “We are already sponsoring thousands of orphan children, building hospitals—including a modern facility in Quetta and a Rs. 250 million hospital in Jaffarabad—and have secured land in Gwadar for a drug rehabilitation center. In Bela, we are establishing the *Aghosh Center* for orphan care,” he added.

The Bano Qabil program, launched nationally by Jamaat-e-Islami’s central Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, is designed to transform lives through skill-based training. In Balochistan, the program will initially be launched in five cities:

* **Quetta (August)**
* **Jaffarabad (September)**
* **Gwadar (November)**

The goal is to register 25,000 students, with 5,000 trained in each city. The courses are targeted at youth aged 14 to 35 years and cover 28 different IT skills. Training duration will range from 3 to 6 months, with two classes per week, each lasting two hours. Separate facilities will be available for male and female students.

Maulana Hidayat revealed that across Pakistan, over **61,650 students** are benefiting from this program, being trained by **435 instructors** in **20 cities**, and **23,000 students** have already completed their courses. Over **Rs. 52 million** have been spent on youth development and employment in the past two years under this initiative.

He assured that despite internet and infrastructure challenges in the province, Jamaat-e-Islami will strive to provide the best possible facilities. A dedicated training center for 1,000 students will be established in Quetta, and more centers will be opened depending on demand.

The program’s registration process will be conducted **online**, and interested students will be able to choose from a wide range of technical and digital courses aimed at enhancing their employability and practical skills.

“This is not just a training initiative,” Maulana Hidayat said, “It’s a movement to uncover the hidden potential of our youth and transform them into valuable contributors to society.”
