Armed Men Briefly Hold Assistant Commissioner and Tehsildar Hostage on Makran Coastal Highway, Seize Weapons and Torch Bowser

Gwadar: A tense situation unfolded near Shatangi, Pasni, on the Makran Coastal Highway when unidentified armed men set up a blockade and briefly held government officials hostage before releasing them.

According to reports, the armed assailants intercepted vehicles on the highway, creating panic in the area. They temporarily detained the Assistant Commissioner and Tehsildar, later releasing them unharmed but seizing weapons from their security personnel.

During the incident, the attackers also set fire to a bowser traveling from Gwadar to Karachi, completely destroying the vehicle.

Law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene shortly after receiving reports of the attack, cordoning off the area and launching a search operation to locate the perpetrators.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the motive behind the incident, and investigations are underway.
