Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani Calls for Unity to Preserve Balochistan’s Heritage and Future

Loralai:Senior politician and former senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani emphasized the need for unity among communities in Balochistan, stating that the shared bond of the land is more sacred than even blood ties. He made these remarks during his one-day visit to Loralai, where he attended a luncheon in his honor at the residence of Saddam Khan Alizai and met with political leaders, tribal elders, and delegations.

“Balochistan is a land rich in historical traditions,” Raisani said. “The common value that binds nations and communities here is the soil of this land. I consider this connection more sacred than any blood relation.”

He called for an end to internal divisions, stating that the survival of future generations depends on unity. “If we fail to overcome these divisions, history and future generations will not forgive us,” he warned.

Raisani was accompanied by former federal minister Mir Humayun Aziz Kurd during his visit. Earlier, he visited the residence of tribal leader Haji Mir Badal Khan Lango to offer condolences on the tragic death of Loralai University Assistant Registrar Dr. Mir Naseebullah Lango and his wife in a traffic accident. He met with members of the Lango family and offered prayers for the departed souls.

He also visited the residence of Malik Afghan, a senior leader of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, to offer condolences on his passing and prayed for his soul.

During the luncheon hosted by Saddam Khan Alizai and Asad Khan Alizai, several political and tribal figures were present, including ANP District President Manzoor Khan Kakar and Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party’s district secretary Mustafa Kamal Kakar. They discussed various political and regional matters with Raisani.

Speaking to delegations, Raisani said, “While ideological differences exist among political parties around the world, the common ground remains the love for one’s homeland. In Balochistan, these ideological differences have unfortunately turned into deep divisions, which opportunists and elitists are exploiting for personal gain.”

He stressed the need to focus on collective progress and dignity, rather than personal agendas. “It is essential that we overcome internal discord for the sake of our future generations,” he reiterated.

Raisani’s visit drew large crowds, with many people welcoming him at various locations and stopping his vehicle to take photos with him. His day in Loralai was marked by significant public engagement and heartfelt interactions.
