BSO Condemns Use of Force Against Balochistan Grand Alliance Leaders, Stands in Solidarity with Peaceful Struggle

TURBAT:The **Baloch Students Organization (BSO)** strongly condemned the use of force and the arrest of leaders from the **Balochistan Grand Alliance (BGA)**, calling it an unfortunate and shameful act. In a statement issued by the BSO’s central spokesperson, the organization expressed its deep disapproval over the recent incidents involving the leaders of the **Balochistan Grand Alliance**, where force was used against employees, and they were subjected to physical violence.

The statement criticized the provincial ministers for luring the BGA leaders under the pretext of negotiations, only to deceitfully arrest them, calling this a clear display of the government’s **incompetence**. The statement also highlighted how the **Baloch-Pashtun traditions** of Balochistan were disrespected during the course of these actions.

Further, the BSO spokesperson pointed out the discrepancy between the commitments made by the provincial ministers and the final outcome of the recent budget. According to the BGA leaders’ meeting with the provincial ministers, the government had promised to allocate **11 billion rupees** from the provincial budget for educational institutions in Balochistan. Additionally, **3 billion rupees** were supposed to be allocated through the federal budget, and a notification regarding allowances for teachers and employees at the University of Balochistan was to be presented to the higher committee.

However, the BSO noted with concern that, in the recent budget, the government allocated only **8 billion rupees** for all of Balochistan’s educational institutions, breaking their earlier commitments and highlighting the government’s continued **anti-education policies** in the region.

In the statement, the BSO expressed frustration over the government’s neglect of **modern education** and **technological advancements** in Balochistan. It emphasized that countries across the world are arming their universities with **modern technology** to foster **knowledge** and **awareness**, and any country without such advancements is left behind in global development and defense.

The BSO stressed that **education without technology** is ineffective, and lamented the fact that **Balochistan** continues to suffer from policies that undermine education, leading to financial crises and irregularities in educational institutions. Teachers, employees, and students in Balochistan constantly face new challenges, and whenever they peacefully protest for their **basic rights** and demand **modern education**, the government responds with violence and force, attempting to silence them.

In conclusion, the BSO reaffirmed its strong **condemnation** of the government’s actions, pledging to stand alongside the **Balochistan Grand Alliance** in their **peaceful political struggle**. The organization made it clear that they would not leave the BGA leaders alone in their fight for justice and will continue to support them in their efforts.
