Provincial Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri Rejects Allegations, Highlights Development Agenda in Hub

Quetta:Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has strongly rejected the allegations made by Saleh Bhootani and his media cell, calling them baseless and misleading. In a statement issued today, Zehri asserted that repeated lies cannot change the truth, and the people are now politically aware and able to distinguish between falsehood and reality.

Zehri emphasized that his political approach is rooted in service, honesty, and development — not in deceit and division. He accused Saleh Bhootani of relying on slander, propaganda, and personal attacks throughout his political career. “From general elections to today, Bhootani has always targeted me with baseless accusations, but with the help of God and the trust of the people, we have succeeded through truth and development,” said Zehri.

Highlighting his administration’s achievements, Zehri said that the era of extortion mafias, lawlessness, and corruption in public funds has ended. He criticized Bhootani for using his political power for personal gain instead of serving the people, adding, “What major development project have you completed in Hub in the last 40 years?”

Zehri alleged that Bhootani discriminated against long-settled residents by restricting their access to local certificates and basic identification documents like CNICs. He also accused him of selectively distributing flood relief, neglecting areas such as Jam Yusuf Colony, Bhattabad, Chizalabad, Madina Colony, Akram Colony, and Lasi Road, which still lack basic facilities like sewage systems.

He further stated that even the internationally known town of Gadani was denied a proper road under Bhootani’s tenure, while areas like Sakran remain deprived of essential services. In contrast, Zehri highlighted his government’s progress:

* A master plan survey for Hub city is underway.
* A road in Gadani is being built at a cost of one billion rupees.
* Rapid development of family parks, schools, libraries, community halls, street lights, paved streets, and roads is ongoing.

“These efforts mark the beginning of fulfilling our promises to the public, and Insha’Allah, we will complete every commitment in the next five years,” Zehri stated.

He also dismissed Bhootani’s recent statement about the Supreme Court as “false propaganda” and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the constitution and rule of law. “We believe in justice and have full faith in the judiciary. Lies cannot change the truth — and the public knows it well,” he concluded.
