Youm-e-Takbeer Symbolizes Pakistan’s Defense, Sovereignty, and Nuclear Strength: Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai

Quetta : Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare and Member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai, in his special message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer (May 28), said the day symbolizes the courage, resilience, and sovereignty of the Pakistani nation.
He stated that May 28, 1998, marks a historic milestone when Pakistan conducted nuclear tests in the mountains of Chagai, sending a clear message to its adversaries and becoming the first nuclear power in the Muslim world. This bold move, he added, was a reflection of national resolve and was made possible under the courageous leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, who prioritized the nation’s security over international pressure, sanctions, and threats.
“This decisive action not only guaranteed Pakistan’s national security but also made it clear that the country would never compromise on its defense,” said Noorzai.
He emphasized that Youm-e-Takbeer teaches us that when leadership is sincere, decisive, and aligned with the sentiments of the people, no power on earth can defeat the nation. He praised the PML-N for being the only party that has consistently led Pakistan towards development, prosperity, and stability.
Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai also said the day offers an opportunity to renew our commitment to national sovereignty, security, and progress. He paid tribute to the martyrs, scientists, Pakistan’s armed forces, and all patriotic individuals who played a vital role in making the nuclear program a reality.
He concluded by urging national unity on this day, sending a strong message that Pakistan’s defense is impregnable and that the nation is ready to face every challenge with unity, solidarity, and faith.
