Pakistan Dedicates Fatah-1 Missile Strike to Martyred Children, Launches ‘Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs’ Against India

Islamabad:Pakistan has launched a powerful military response against India under the codename *Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs* (Iron Wall), in retaliation for recent Indian strikes that resulted in the deaths of Pakistani civilians, including children.

According to security sources, the operation commenced at dawn with the launch of the *Fatah-1* missile, targeting key Indian military assets. The Udhampur and Pathankot airbases, along with a BrahMos missile storage facility, were reportedly destroyed in the strikes. In total, 12 high-value Indian targets have been hit as part of the ongoing offensive.

In a symbolic and emotional move, Pakistan dedicated the missile strike to the memory of seven children martyred in recent Indian attacks. Their names were inscribed on a black cloth draped over the Fatah-1 missile before launch. Officials emphasized that the nation will never forget the innocent lives lost, declaring, “Pakistan has neither forgotten nor will ever forget the martyrdom of these children.”

The Fatah-1 missile, with a range of 120 kilometers, is equipped with an advanced navigation system and high precision strike capabilities.

The escalation comes in the wake of a brutal Indian attack on the night of May 6–7, when Indian forces allegedly targeted civilian areas in Azad Kashmir, including Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, as well as parts of Punjab like Muridke and Ahmadpur Sharqia. The strikes reportedly resulted in the destruction of two mosques and the deaths of 31 civilians, including women and children, with 51 others injured.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has since convened a meeting of the National Command Authority (NCA), signaling the gravity of the current crisis and Pakistan’s readiness to respond to further aggression.
