Islamabad:The National Assembly of Pakistan is set to hold a crucial session at 5 PM today at the Parliament House, which will be presided over by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. The session will focus on an important 38-point agenda, which includes a detailed discussion on India’s recent military aggression and the escalating tensions along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to sources, the government has decided to present a unanimous resolution against India’s aggression during the session. The resolution will reflect the collective stance of Pakistan’s political leadership and aim to expose India’s provocative actions on the international stage.
Members of Parliament will also be given the opportunity to express their views on this critical national security issue during the session. It is expected that discussions will address India’s repeated cross-border terrorism, military threats, and blatant violations of the Indus Water Treaty (Sindh-Tass Agreement).
Furthermore, the government is expected to unveil a comprehensive national narrative and policy that will not only represent the sentiments of Parliament but also reflect the unity of the entire nation. The government’s strategy regarding the violations of the Indus Water Treaty is likely to be presented, and an in-camera meeting of political leadership on the matter is also included in the agenda.
In light of India’s provocations, Pakistan’s political and military leadership has demonstrated full solidarity, and today’s session will serve as a practical manifestation of this unity.
