Saqib Chadhar Challenges Momina Iqbal to Show Any Harassment Message
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly member Saquib Chadhar, who has been named in the harassment case involving actress Momina Iqbal, has challenged the actress to present even a single message, call or social media communication in which he allegedly harassed or threatened her.
Speaking during a podcast, Saquib Chadhar said that if Momina Iqbal could produce any such evidence, he would publicly apologize to her as well as to the entire nation.
“Invite Momina Iqbal to your show and ask her to show even one message, call or social media message in which I harassed or threatened her, whether before or after December 2025. If even one piece of evidence is presented, I will apologize to her in front of the public and also apologize to the entire nation,” he said.

Saquib Chadhar clarified that his intention was never to insult the actress. He said his wife used to pray for Momina Iqbal’s marriage and questioned how he could have been involved in allegedly trying to prevent her marriage.
The PML-N lawmaker also spoke about Momina Iqbal’s sister, Ramsha, saying that he had always treated her like his own sister and provided her with financial and moral support.

He claimed that he helped send Ramsha to Australia for higher education and also helped her secure a job at a friend’s company there.
Saquib Chadhar further alleged that Ramsha secretly recorded a video of his friend during a cash transaction in Australia and later filed a harassment case against him. He claimed that Ramsha and her associates initially demanded 1 million Australian dollars, but the matter was eventually settled after 165,000 Australian dollars were paid.

He further alleged that Ramsha returned to Pakistan with the money and claimed that he had evidence relating to the alleged transactions and blackmailing.
The allegations made by Saquib Chadhar remain claims, and any determination regarding the harassment allegations and the other accusations would depend on evidence and the outcome of the relevant legal proceedings.
