Pakistan Army Presents Concrete Evidence of Indian State-Sponsored Terrorism

Islamabad: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has publicly accused India of orchestrating state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan. In a press briefing, the military spokesperson revealed significant evidence linking Indian military officials to terrorist operations across the country.
General Sharif stated that a complete network of Indian-backed terrorists has been uncovered within Pakistan, and claimed that India, as a state, is directly involved in orchestrating attacks. He criticized the Indian government for failing to provide any evidence regarding the recent Pahalgam incident, despite making serious allegations against Pakistan.
During the briefing, DG ISPR shared details of a major breakthrough in which a trained Indian operative, Afzal Majeed, was apprehended on April 25. Authorities recovered 2.5 kilograms of explosives, cash, a mobile phone, and an Indian drone from his possession. An additional 1 million rupees in cash was found at his residence.
According to General Sharif, credible and verifiable evidence links this operation to active Indian Army officers, including Subedar Sukhwinder, who allegedly acted as a handler and communicated logistics and locations via WhatsApp. Another Indian officer, Major Sandeep Verma, was accused of planning and financing terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Audio clips were presented to the media, reportedly capturing conversations between Indian handlers and terrorists, including discussions of payment and targeting instructions. The DG ISPR claimed that these interactions clearly demonstrate India’s role in funding, arming, and directing cross-border terrorism.
He further revealed a timeline of incidents, including a deadly IED attack in Bagh district on October 13, 2024, which injured three Pakistani soldiers, and a separate attack in Jalalpur Jattan, where four soldiers were wounded. Payments traced to terrorist accounts following these attacks, along with recovered drones and explosive materials, were presented as direct evidence of Indian military involvement.
General Sharif stated that these acts represent not only a breach of international law but also a blatant example of state-sponsored terrorism. He emphasized the bravery and resilience of the Pakistani people and armed forces in the face of such threats.
He concluded by announcing that a detailed follow-up briefing with a Q&A session would be held tomorrow to further elaborate on the findings and respond to media inquiries.
