Pakistan Decides to Respond Diplomatically to India’s Propaganda After Pahalgam Incident

Islamabad: The federal government has decided to give a strong diplomatic response to India’s false propaganda following the Pahalgam incident in the occupied Kashmir region. According to Express News, the government will take action on an international level, exposing India’s misleading narrative and confronting it on global forums.
Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Pakistan will work to debunk India’s narrative and raise the issue at various international platforms. The Modi government’s baseless propaganda will be exposed globally, and every attempt by India will be thwarted through diplomatic channels. The Foreign Ministry will implement the federal government’s policies in addressing this matter.
High-level consultations are ongoing within the federal government, and the final strategy will be formulated following approval from the Prime Minister. Sources indicated that Pakistan has previously rejected India’s allegations, and this latest incident is no different, as India has no evidence or credible arguments to back up their claims.
The government emphasized that Pakistan has always condemned acts of terrorism and has played a key role in efforts to eliminate it. The response to India’s accusations will be handled diplomatically, and Pakistan is fully capable of giving a strong reply to any form of aggression.
Additionally, sources have mentioned that the government is considering revising its diplomatic relations with India. There are suggestions to limit or reduce diplomatic ties, with possible reductions in the number of Indian High Commission staff in Islamabad. The initial phase could involve the expulsion of defense, military, naval, and air attachés from Pakistan. If India continues its belligerence, the staff at the Indian High Commission may be further reduced, and visa issuance could be halted.
Pakistan may also restrict India’s use of its airspace as part of its diplomatic response. According to the sources, under the Indus Water Treaty, India cannot unilaterally suspend or terminate the agreement. If India takes any such action, Pakistan may seek intervention from the World Bank for arbitration.
The final decisions regarding diplomatic relations with India will be taken in response to evolving circumstances. In the event of any aggression by India, Pakistan is prepared to give a robust, retaliatory response. The National Security Committee will review these proposals, and the Prime Minister will brief the Parliament, which may pass a joint resolution condemning India’s actions.
