Severe Power Crisis in Panjgur: Citizens Struggle with Extreme Loadshedding and Low Voltage

Panjgur:The power situation in Panjgur has reached alarming levels, with residents facing prolonged and extreme loadshedding. For up to 24 hours, the area receives barely half an hour to one hour of electricity, and frequent voltage fluctuations have rendered the power supply ineffective.
The situation has worsened since the introduction of electricity from Iran to the Makran region, leading to a severe power crisis across Panjgur and the broader Makran area. With the intense summer heat, residents are struggling to even access basic resources like drinking water, and children in schools have been severely affected by the conditions.
Local communities have voiced their frustration, accusing both provincial and federal governments, as well as K-Electric (KESCO) officials, of neglecting the crisis and leaving the public to endure unnecessary hardships. According to sources, instead of prioritizing electricity supply to Makran from the national grid, efforts are being made to redirect the Iranian power supply to other parts of the country.
In light of this crisis, citizens are demanding immediate intervention from both provincial and federal authorities, urging them to address the power shortage and ensure a stable, uninterrupted electricity supply to Panjgur.
