Malkand University Lecturer Dismissed After Sexual Harassment Allegations

A **Malkand University** lecturer, **Abdul Haseeb**, has been dismissed from his position after allegations of sexual harassment were proven against him. The university’s **Senate** took the decision to terminate his employment based on the recommendations of the **Anti-Harassment Committee**.

The incident came to light when a female student from the **Department of Urdu** filed a police report on **February 4**, accusing the lecturer of **kidnapping and sexual harassment**. After the complaint was filed, the university administration suspended Abdul Haseeb and referred the matter to the **Anti-Harassment Committee** for further investigation.

Following the committee’s findings, the **University Syndicate** made the decision to dismiss the lecturer, with the official notification expected to be issued by **Monday**.

A university spokesperson, **Miraj**, confirmed the dismissal decision and stated that the formal notification will be released soon.
