ICC Champions Trophy 2025: All Tickets for India’s Matches in Dubai Sell Out in Less Than an Hour

Dubai, UAE – The excitement surrounding the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is already palpable as tickets for India’s matches went on sale at 4:00 PM local time, with all tickets selling out in under an hour. Cricket fans had eagerly prepared to buy tickets, and as soon as the clock hit 4:00 PM, they flooded the online platform. Reports indicate that more than 111,000 fans were waiting in line, with some even unable to secure tickets for the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan.
By 4:56 PM, all ticket categories for the India-Pakistan match were sold out, including the premium Platinum category priced at 2,000 AED and the Grand Lounge category at 5,000 AED.
Zarleesh Kamal, a Pakistani national residing in Sharjah, expressed her excitement about the event, saying she had never been able to see an India-Pakistan match in person. Despite the long wait in line, her passion for cricket kept her hopeful, as she looked forward to enjoying the match live in the stadium.
On the other hand, Namita Anish, an Indian woman from Sharjah, was disappointed as she couldn’t get a ticket for the India-Pakistan match due to the high demand. However, she managed to secure tickets for the India-New Zealand match, sharing her excitement about watching New Zealand in action, as it was her second favorite team after India.
Although Pakistan is officially hosting the tournament, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided not to send its team to Pakistan, citing the government’s advice. In December 2024, the International Cricket Council (ICC) declared Dubai as the neutral venue for India’s matches.
India’s matches in Dubai will be held at the Dubai International Stadium on February 20 against Bangladesh, February 23 against Pakistan, and March 2 against New Zealand. Dubai will also host the first semi-final on March 4, and if India qualifies, the final will take place on March 9. If India fails to qualify for the final, the second semi-final and final will be held in Lahore, Pakistan.
Ticket sales for matches in Pakistan have also begun, with general stand tickets priced at 1,000 Pakistani Rupees (13 AED) and premium seats at 1,500 Pakistani Rupees.
