Donald Trump’s Second Inauguration Ceremony to be Held Indoors Due to Cold Weather

Washington D.C. (Qudrat News) – The inauguration ceremony for newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, which was initially planned to take place on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, will now be held indoors due to severe cold weather conditions.
Donald Trump is set to take the oath of office for his second term on January 20th. He confirmed that the ceremony will be moved inside the U.S. Capitol as the country is experiencing intense winds and cold temperatures.
In a statement on social media, Trump stated that due to the cold front sweeping across the country, he has directed that the inauguration ceremony take place inside the U.S. Congress.
This change in plans means that Trump will not be able to greet the public from the steps of the Capitol as is traditionally done, where the new president is welcomed by crowds on the National Mall.
According to the weather department, the temperature in Washington D.C. on January 20th is expected to break a 40-year record for cold, with winds also predicted to increase.
The last time an inauguration was held indoors was in 1985 for President Ronald Reagan.
Additionally, invitations have been sent to major global powers and key U.S. allies to attend the inauguration ceremony.
