CDA Issues Notice Over Alleged Construction Violations at Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Residence
ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a notice regarding alleged construction violations at the residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The CDA’s Building Control Department issued the notice to the owner of the house. According to media reports, the CDA pasted the notice over alleged construction violations at the residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The notice identified alleged illegal construction in the house’s setbacks.
In the notice, the CDA also raised an objection to the installation of guard posts and a generator on CDA land, and directed that the alleged construction violations be removed within 15 days.
If the violations are not removed within the stipulated period, action will be taken to seal the building.

According to the notice, in case the alleged illegal constructions are not removed, demolition action may also be taken. The CDA also warned of action to cancel the allotment if the violations persist.
On the other hand, JUI-F Sindh Secretary General Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro said in his reaction: salute to the generator’s steadfastness!
From 2018 to today, 2026, how many prime ministers came,
how many governments changed, how many opposition leaders came,
but the generator at Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sahib’s house stood firm in its place!

During Imran Khan’s era, a notice came, and Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto spoke in the Assembly in favour of the generator.
Now Shehbaz Sharif is Prime Minister — let’s see whether he speaks in favour of the generator or in favour of the notice!
One thing, however, has become clear: neither was Imran Khan at fault then, nor is Shehbaz Sharif today!
The real matter was about those “unknown” ones, who are now beginning to become somewhat known!
And yes!
Along with the workers, the generator too has stood firmly with Maulana Sahib since 2018, stands, and God willing,
will continue to stand!
Long live the generator! Loyalty such that whether electricity comes or not,
it never changes its loyalty and stance!
