One Worker Killed, 12 Injured as Labourers’ Pickup Overturns on Quetta-Karachi Highway

QALAT: A pickup truck carrying labourers overturned at the Khazaini area on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, killing one worker and seriously injuring 12 others.

According to police sources, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle. One labourer died at the scene, while 12 others sustained serious injuries.

Rescue 1122 teams promptly reached the site after receiving information about the incident. The injured individuals and the deceased were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Qalat.

Hospital sources said the seriously injured victims were referred to Quetta for further medical treatment due to the severity of their condition.
