Eight-Month-Old Ahmed Jan Sarpara Murder Case Solved in Quetta, Two Arrested

QUETTA: The eight-month-old murder mystery of Ahmed Jan Sarpara, who was killed on Sariab Road in Quetta on January 21, 2026, has been solved by the Special Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW) of Balochistan Police.

According to a spokesperson for Balochistan Police, the victim’s wife allegedly conspired with Muhammad Farooq to have Ahmed Jan killed.

Police said Farooq and Naseebullah allegedly opened fire on Ahmed Jan, killing him.

A police operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Dost Muhammad Bugti, resulting in the arrest of two suspects. Police also recovered a weapon and a motorcycle allegedly used in the crime.

Raids are continuing to arrest the alleged main female suspect in the case, the police spokesperson said.
