Tandoor Owners Postpone Strike in Quetta Following Talks with District Administration

Quetta: The Tandoor Owners in Quetta have postponed their planned strike, initially set to begin on May 1, for ten days after successful negotiations with the district administration.
Speaking at a press conference, Raza Mohammad, a representative of the Balochistan Tandoor Association, announced that the decision to defer the strike was made following discussions with government officials.
He stated that a price analysis committee formed by the administration will determine the new official rate for bread (roti) within six days. A revised notification will be issued accordingly.
In the meantime, tandoor owners have agreed to comply with the existing official rate and continue selling roti at Rs. 30, as mandated by the administration.
