Singer and actor Atif Aslam has opened up about his experience of working on HUM TV’s Sang-e-Mah.
Atif spoke about the pressure he felt from the public when he took on the role of Hilmand and how he got into character.
The Bol star stated, “The fact that people don’t expect a mistake from me is very intimidating. Acting as Hilmand was certainly something new for me but that didn’t mean that I should stop taking risks or accepting challenges.” said Atif while talking to Maliha Rehman.
He further added, “It was amazing to step into another character and learn so many new things. Memorizing Hilmand was a role and a half in itself. It was difficult for me to unlearn Atif Aslam and become this new person. I am hoping that the audience likes Sang-e-Mah. Fingers crossed!”
Sang-e-Mah is a sequel of the 2016 blockbuster, ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’. Directed by Saife Hassan. The first episode of the drama serial aired on Sunday in cinemas and on satellite. The cast of the drama serial also include Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Nauman Ijaz and Sania Saeed.
