Pakistan’s First Netflix Original Series “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” Set for Global Release

Karachi: Pakistan is all set to make its debut on the global streaming giant Netflix with its first original series titled “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.” The series is based on the bestselling novel by renowned author Farhat Ishtiaq, who has confirmed that the project will be released worldwide in June 2025.
Leading Pakistani actors Ahad Raza Mir and Iqra Aziz will star in the main roles, portraying the characters of Sikandar and Liza, respectively. The series is being hailed as a major milestone for Pakistan’s entertainment industry, marking the first time a Pakistani drama will be featured as original content on Netflix.


“Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” is known for its deep emotional narrative, complex relationships, and powerful character development. The story’s serious and heartfelt themes have already garnered a loyal readership, and fans are eagerly awaiting the on-screen adaptation.

However, the casting choices have sparked debate on social media. Some users have expressed disappointment over the selection of Ahad Raza Mir and Iqra Aziz for the lead roles, suggesting that more fitting actors could have been cast.
Despite the criticism, anticipation remains high for what promises to be a landmark production in Pakistani drama history.
