Pakistan Upholds Quaid-e-Azam’s Policy on Israel, Says Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar

Islamabad: Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar reiterated in the National Assembly that the Pakistani government continues to follow the policy on Israel laid down by the founder of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Addressing the house, the minister condemned the ongoing atrocities in Palestine, stating that a new chapter of oppression is being written. “More than 65,000 innocent Palestinians have been martyred, and over 100,000 severely injured,” he said, highlighting that women, children, and the elderly are not safe in the current conflict.
Tarar emphasized that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken a firm and clear stance on the matter and has strongly condemned Israeli actions on all international platforms. He called on the global community to extend support to the Palestinian people.
He also drew parallels between the issues of Gaza and Kashmir, asserting that both should be resolved according to United Nations resolutions. “Our state’s position on the Palestine issue is unambiguous and unwavering,” Tarar said. “Quaid-e-Azam laid down a clear national policy regarding Israel, and the current government stands firmly by it.”
Reaffirming Pakistan’s support for oppressed peoples worldwide, the law minister stated, “Those struggling for their right to self-determination cannot be silenced by force—be it in Palestine or Kashmir. Dialogue may delay them, but their voice cannot be suppressed by gunpowder.”
