Landmine Explosion Kills Motorcyclist in Dera Bugti

DERA MURAD JAMALI (Daily Qudrat Quetta): A man was killed when a landmine exploded in the Lanjoo Safari area of Sui, within the jurisdiction of Dera Bugti district, police said.

According to police, the incident occurred at Branch No. 8 in Lanjoo Safari when a motorcycle ran over an explosive device buried underground. The explosion killed the motorcyclist, identified as Rashid Bugti, on the spot and completely destroyed the motorcycle.

Following the incident, police and security forces reached the site and cordoned off the area.

A search operation was launched to locate any suspects involved in planting the explosive device. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
