SHO Injured in Attack During Anti-Encroachment Operation in Karachi

KARACHI:** The Station House Officer (SHO) of Hyderi Market Police Station was injured when hotel owners and their associates allegedly attacked police during an anti-encroachment operation in Karachi.

According to police, an operation against encroachments was carried out by police and the district administration in the Samanabad area.

Police said hotel owners and their associates attacked the law enforcement personnel during the operation, resulting in injuries to the SHO of Hyderi Market Police Station and a police constable.

Several employees of the Town Municipal Administration were also injured in the incident.

Police subsequently took action and arrested three suspects in connection with the attack. Further investigation is underway.
