TTP Carrying Out Terrorism in Pakistan from Afghanistan, Governments Have Solid Evidence: Ali Amin Gandapur

Peshawar: Former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has confirmed that there is “clear documentary evidence” of Afghan soil being used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

According to a report by Investigation Editor Ansar Abbasi published in Jang and The News, Ali Amin Gandapur, while speaking to The News, said that in his capacity as former chief minister, he can verify that both the provincial and federal governments possess solid evidence showing that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is carrying out terrorist attacks in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from across the border in Afghanistan.

He stated that these activities are taking place with the knowledge and support of the Afghan government and the Afghan Taliban. Gandapur added that Afghan nationals were involved in several terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and that Afghan citizens were arrested in multiple cases linked to terrorist activities.

It is pertinent to note that earlier, the current Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Afridi, had said that the state should provide evidence to support the claim that Afghan territory is being used for terrorism inside Pakistan.
