Officers Involved in Raid on Attorney General’s House Seek Bail

LAHORE: A hearing was held at the Lahore Sessions Court in a case involving a police raid on the residence of the Attorney General for Pakistan.

Five other suspects nominated in the case approached the Sessions Court seeking interim bail. The court restrained police from arresting all five suspects until August 12.

The suspects include female police officer Seerat Tariq, Imran Khan, Salman Khushi, Najaf Ali, and Zeeshan Akram.

The court also directed the suspects to join the investigation.

Additional Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Ahmed heard the interim bail petitions. The case was registered by Sarwar Road Police Station in connection with the alleged raid on the Attorney General’s residence.
