Major Reshuffle Expected in PTI Leadership; New Chairman’s Name Emerges

ISLAMABAD: Following the resignation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, major changes are now expected within the central leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to party sources, **Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan** is likely to be **replaced by Junaid Akbar** as the new chairman of PTI.

Similarly, **Secretary of Information Sheikh Waqas Akram** is also expected to be removed from his position, with **Rauf Hassan** being considered as his possible replacement.

It may be recalled that **Ali Amin Gandapur resigned** as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa yesterday, and **Sohail Afridi**, a representative from the tribal districts, has been **nominated as the new Chief Minister**.

Following his resignation, Gandapur’s **social media team reportedly departed for Dera Ismail Khan**, signaling a broader internal shift within the party’s organizational structure.
