Gold Prices Decline for Second Consecutive Day in Pakistan and International Markets

KARACHI: Gold prices continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day in both Pakistan and the international market, according to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,000 to Rs426,436, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs365,600.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs68 to reach Rs6,291.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $10 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,040 per ounce.
Market analysts attribute fluctuations in precious metal prices to changing trends in global bullion markets, currency movements, and investor sentiment. Gold prices in Pakistan are closely linked to international market rates and are adjusted accordingly on a daily basis.
