Court Extends Interim Bail of Punjab MPA Saqib Chadhar in Actress Momina Iqbal Harassment Case

Lahore:A Lahore court has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly member **Saqib Chadhar** and his wife in a case involving allegations of harassment and threats made by actress **Momina Iqbal**.
According to reports, the hearing was held before Additional Sessions Judge **Nusrat Siddiqui** on a case registered at the request of the actress. Momina Iqbal was represented by Advocate Adnan Ahsan, while Saqib Chadhar was represented by Advocate Rana Maroof.
During the proceedings, the investigating officer informed the court that the **National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA)** had completed its investigation against Saqib Chadhar and, based on the available evidence, had found him **culpable during the investigation**.
The court was also informed that Chadhar’s wife, **Samira**, had handed over her mobile phone to the NCCIA two days earlier. The device has been sent for forensic examination, and further legal action will depend on the findings of the forensic report.

Counsel for Momina Iqbal urged the court to reject the interim bail, arguing that the accused’s release could pose a risk to the complainant. The defense, however, requested that the interim bail remain in place.
After hearing the preliminary arguments and reviewing the investigating officer’s report, the court sought final arguments from both sides and **extended the interim bail of Saqib Chadhar and his wife until September 3**. The hearing was adjourned until the next scheduled date.
