UK Inquest Reveals Saudi Prince Died from Fatal Combination of Alcohol, GHB and Xanax in London Hotel

London: A British coroner’s inquest has concluded that 29-year-old Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud died as a result of a fatal combination of alcohol, gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), and Xanax, a medication commonly prescribed for anxiety disorders.

According to the findings presented during the inquest, Prince Abdullah was found dead on November 25 last year in the bathroom of his room at a Marriott hotel in Kensington, London. Hotel housekeeping staff discovered him lying on the floor after entering the room.

The coroner stated that, based on the available evidence, there were no indications of suicide or any criminal involvement (foul play) in the prince’s death.

Subsequently, on December 2, the Saudi Royal Court confirmed Prince Abdullah’s passing and announced that his funeral prayers would be held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.

The inquest determined that the fatal combination of substances was responsible for his death, bringing clarity to the circumstances surrounding the incident.
