Woman Injured After Gunmen Open Fire on Passenger Coach Near Gaddan Hotel in Kalat
KALAT: A 25-year-old woman was injured after unidentified armed men opened fire on a passenger coach traveling from Quetta to Turbat near Gaddan Hotel in Kalat district on Saturday.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. when unidentified assailants suddenly opened indiscriminate fire on the Al-Munir passenger coach. The attack caused panic among passengers traveling on the vehicle.
The injured woman was identified as Shandar Gul, a resident of Awaran. She sustained serious injuries in the firing and was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Surab for emergency medical treatment.
Following the incident, local administration officials and security agencies reached the area and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.
No group has claimed responsibility for the shooting so far. Authorities have assured that all aspects of the incident are being thoroughly investigated and that efforts are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.
