Balochistan CM Lauds Security Forces for Successful Intelligence-Based Operations in Surab and Mastung
QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has paid glowing tribute to Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies for their successful intelligence-based operations in Surab and Mastung, describing the destruction of terrorist hideouts and the arrest of individuals involved in planning suicide attacks as a major achievement.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said that every conspiracy aimed at sabotaging peace in Balochistan would be thwarted and that there would be no leniency for anti-state elements. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s unwavering support for security forces and law enforcement agencies until terrorism is completely eradicated.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that operations against terrorists and their facilitators allegedly operating with Indian patronage would continue until they reach their logical conclusion. He emphasized that such elements are enemies of peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan and will not be allowed to succeed in their malicious designs.
He said that ensuring peace, stability, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the foremost priority of the Government of Balochistan, adding that the fight against terrorism will continue with full determination and resolve.
The Chief Minister further remarked that the sacrifices and achievements of the security forces are a source of pride for the entire nation. He pledged that all available resources would be utilized to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from its roots.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also reiterated the government’s commitment to securing lasting peace and a prosperous future for the people of Balochistan and vowed that anti-state conspiracies would be defeated at all costs.
