Sindh High Court Expresses Anger Over Delayed Allotment of Plots to Scheme 33 Private Society Victims

Karachi: The Sindh High Court expressed frustration during the hearing of a petition concerning 650 victims of a private housing society in Scheme 33, Karachi, who have yet to receive their allotted plots.

The court remarked that it is regrettable that the case has been pending for seven years. In 2020, authorities had assured that the plots would be provided, but even after five years, the victims are still struggling to obtain them.

The court also highlighted that the victims include elderly individuals who are eager for a swift resolution to their issue. Strong remarks were made that if the victims do not receive possession of their plots by the next hearing, the interim bail of the accused will be revoked.

The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for November 18.
