Balochistan Government Splits Quetta District into East and West

Quetta:The Government of Balochistan has officially issued a notification dividing **Quetta District** into two separate administrative districts as part of a major administrative restructuring.
According to the notification, **Quetta Division** will now consist of **three districts**. The existing Quetta District has been divided into **Quetta East** and **Quetta West**.
Quetta East** will include the **Sariab**, **Saddar**, and **City** subdivisions, while **Quetta West** will comprise the **Kuchlak**, **Brewery (Burori)**, and **Panjpai** subdivisions.
The notification also states that **Mastung District** has been transferred from **Kalat Division** and incorporated into **Quetta Division**, expanding the division’s administrative jurisdiction.
