Australia Beat West Indies by Eight Wickets to Reach Women’s T20 World Cup Final

London:Australia stormed into the **ICC Women’s T20 World Cup** final for the **eighth time** after defeating West Indies by **eight wickets** in the tournament’s first semi-final.
Batting first, West Indies posted **125/7** in their allotted 20 overs. Captain **Hayley Matthews** top-scored with **30 runs**, while **Deandra Dottin** contributed **26**.
Australia’s bowlers shared the wickets, with **Ashleigh Gardner**, **Georgia Wareham**, and **Sophie Molineux** claiming **two wickets each**.
In reply, Australia comfortably chased down the **126-run** target in just **13 overs**, losing only **two wickets**.
**Beth Mooney** anchored the innings with an unbeaten **61**, while **Ashleigh Gardner** remained not out on **35** to guide Australia to a dominant victory.
The win sends Australia into the **Women’s T20 World Cup final** for the eighth time in the competition’s history.
The tournament’s second semi-final is scheduled to be played later today between **England** and **South Africa**, with the winner advancing to face Australia in the final.
