Imran Khan Meets Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail; Family Also Granted Access
Rawalpindi: PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan was allowed to meet his wife Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail, according to local media reports.
Express News reported that the meeting took place in the jail’s conference room and lasted for about half an hour. During the meeting, the couple discussed health and legal matters.
Later, Bushra Bibi was also allowed to meet members of her family. The family meeting was held in the same conference room, where discussions reportedly focused on her health and other family-related issues.
Those who met Bushra Bibi included her daughter, Mubashara Sheikh, and her sister-in-law, Mehr-un-Nisa Maneka. After the meeting, both visitors left Adiala Jail.
Reports said that the visitors entered the prison through Gate No. 5 for the scheduled meeting.
It is worth noting that Bushra Bibi’s family members had been granted permission for a meeting last Tuesday as well, but the meeting could not take place because the family did not arrive at the jail.
