Balochistan Chief Minister Meets Maulana Fazlur Rehman to Discuss Security and Political Situation

Islamabad/Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad on Sunday to discuss the country’s political landscape, national issues, and the security situation in Balochistan.

During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, with particular focus on the prevailing law and order situation in Balochistan and the provincial government’s efforts to establish lasting peace.

Chief Minister Bugti briefed Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the Balochistan government’s commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He said the provincial administration, in close coordination with all relevant institutions, is continuing comprehensive measures to eliminate terrorism and restore lasting security across the province.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the country’s overall political situation and emphasized the importance of political harmony and collective efforts by all political stakeholders to promote national stability, peace, and development, particularly in Balochistan.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, with both leaders also discussing other issues of mutual interest.
