Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Condemns Suspension of Speera Ragha Road Construction

Quetta (News Desk): The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) has strongly condemned the suspension of the Speera Ragha Road construction project, terming it a result of alleged collusion between contractors and government officials.
In a press release issued by the party’s provincial secretariat, PkMAP stated that the long-pending 13-year-old Speera Ragha Road project has once again been stalled due to what it called a “drama” involving the burning of camp machinery and subsequent halt of construction work.
The statement alleged that this fabricated incident was used as a pretext to stop the project and risk the lapse of allocated funds. It further claimed that a recently constructed portion of the road has already deteriorated, while no corrective action has been taken by the authorities.
The party maintained that there is no law and order issue on the Speera Ragha Road and rejected any justification for halting the project under the guise of insecurity. It warned that any attempt to deliberately lapse development funds under the excuse of unrest would not be tolerated.
PkMAP demanded the immediate resumption and completion of the road construction with quality standards. It also called for an investigation into those responsible for creating obstacles in the project and taking strict action against them.
