Mumbai:Veteran Indian actress Suhasini Mulay has revealed that she got married at the age of 75, sharing the unusual and heartwarming story behind her late marriage.
Speaking in a recent interview, Mulay said she remained unmarried for decades because she never found a suitable partner. She noted that her life took an unexpected turn when she decided to explore social media after being advised by a friend.
According to the actress, she created a Facebook account and, while browsing one day, came across the profile of a man named Atul, who later became her husband. She said she found his profile interesting and sent him a message, which led to casual conversations between them.
The exchange gradually developed into a friendship, with both later sharing their email contacts. Atul reportedly expressed that he was also searching for a life partner, though he never formally proposed marriage. Instead, their relationship evolved naturally through ongoing communication.
Mulay added that after getting to know each other for about 75 days, the couple decided to get married.
The actress, now 75 years old according to Indian media reports, described her marriage as an unexpected but fulfilling chapter in her life, highlighting how modern connections can lead to meaningful relationships even later in life.
