Two Bowser Trucks Set on Fire After Armed Attack on Tar-Laden Vehicles in Panjgur

Panjgur (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Daily) — Armed assailants opened fire on three bowser vehicles carrying tar (bitumen) in the Chidgi Dastak Road area of Panjgur, resulting in the burning of two trucks and damage to a third vehicle, according to local sources.
Police said the vehicles were traveling from the Chidgi border area after loading tar from the Iran border when they came under sudden attack near Dastak. The attackers, reportedly lying in ambush, fired indiscriminately at the convoy.
As a result of the firing, two bowser trucks caught fire and were completely burned on the spot, while the tires of the third vehicle were burst due to gunfire, rendering it immobile.
Following the incident, police and security forces rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. A large-scale search operation has been launched to apprehend the attackers.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack, while security has been tightened in the surrounding region.
